Rhinoplasty - Nose Job

Rhinoplasty, or reshaping of the nose, is one of the most common cosmetic procedures performed today. Dr. Dmytryshyn was recognized by Vancouver Magazine as “the best nose doctor in Vancouver”, and he has been in practice for over 25 years.

The overall goal of rhinoplasty, commonly referred to as ‘a nose job‘, is to help create a nose which is in better harmony and looks natural with other facial features.

Computer Imaging

Computer imaging helps to design the desired nose, and all of our patients find this a friendly, useful technology to better participate in the process. The cosmetic surgery modifies the nose by sculpturing the nasal bones and cartilage to create harmony with other facial features.

Length of Procedure

Cosmetic surgery of the nose requires one to two hours of “twilight sleep.” The incisions are internal and at the base of the nose if the nasal tip must be narrowed.

Recovery Process

There is minimal discomfort after nasal surgery. A nasal splint is placed on the nose for one week, and patients resume their normal activities within two weeks.
