Laser skin resurfacing can reduce and eliminate unwanted wrinkles and pigmentation that comes with age. Laser resurfacing is performed using a beam of laser energy which vaporizes the upper layers of damaged skin.

During the healing process, compresses and ointments are used for about one week, until we see the revitalized smooth and pink skin, which gradually matures over the following 3 weeks to 3 months.

Common Treatments

Usually the laser treatment is done over the entire face, but selected facial areas such as the upper lip, mouth or lower eyelids may also be considered as a separate procedure. The neck area may be helped with the laser treatment.

Laser skin resurfacing treatments are commonly done in combination with facelifts, brow lifts, forehead lifts, and eyelid procedures.
