Brow Lift

The forehead and brow lift procedures correct the sagging and low position of the eyebrows that can cause a perpetual tired and sad look. The procedure softens horizontal creases across the forehead and reduces the worried and angry expression that can result from frown lines.

The brow and forehead lifts are performed through minimal (small) incisions, which are easily hidden in the hair. To facilitate these procedures an endoscope may be used.

The brow lift is often done at the same time as a facelift, to lift the outer half of the eyebrow.

If there is significant skin overhang in the upper eyelids or puffy bags beneath the eyes, eyelid surgery may be indicated as an additional optional procedure which will enhance the results.

Recovery Process

Some swelling and minimal bruising may occur about the eyes and from our experience patients are able to return to their normal activities within two weeks. By two weeks, all sutures are removed.

The final outcome of browlift and forehead lift is a more relaxed and refreshed facial appearance.
